DeAwna McGinley - Originally from California, DeAwna relocated to Chicago in 2003 to earn her graduate degree in Acting, and has worked professionally within the community since then. Trained in acting, movement, singing, circus and dance, she is a performer who realizes the importance of kinesthetic awareness.  Ms. McGinley has been a long time advocate and participant in Pilates and yoga, and looks forward to continuing to expand her knowledge in this field.

DeAwna holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of the Performing Arts, a B.A. in Theatre from California State University, Fresno, and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001.

Ms. McGinley has a deep passion for shark research and rescue and is eager to become more involved in the preservation of these animals.
